Apple HomeView costs Rs 39,900 in India, and pre-orders are open now on Apple’s India store. Availability begins on November 13. Setup requires a compatible iPhone or iPad, so an Android-only household cannot get it running.
Apple announced HomeView on October 13 at $299 in the U.S. Our launch post covered the U.S. details. Apple’s India store now lists the rupee price for every model.

- Wall-mounted: Silver and Space Gray, Rs 39,900 each
- EMI: Apple displays a starting figure of Rs 3,620 per month; terms are on Apple’s page

Setup needs an iPhone or iPad
Apple’s newsroom release says HomeView setup and multiuser support need a compatible iPhone or iPad running the latest software. Apple’s release mentions no Android option. An Android-only household has no way to set it up.
Apple’s U.S. footnotes also say camera event history and video summaries need an iCloud+ subscription. Check the India page’s footnotes before you pre-order, in case the terms differ. Our launch post also explains how HomeView handles face recognition and personal content when the paired iPhone leaves home Wi-Fi.
Siri AI on HomeView in India
Siri AI on HomeView works in India, in English only. Apple lists India alongside the U.S., Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa and the UK. The feature is still in beta.
