Alleged Moto X 2017 Render, Specifications with Dual camera leaks

Today a new alleged render of upcoming Moto X 2017 has leaked on the web which does match with the earlier leaked images of the device. Looking at the leaked render, we can clearly see a dual camera at the back, with two camera sensors inside a big circular module and a small bump is visible with the camera. The build appears to be a metallic one all along , while Antenna lines are visible at top and bottom. On the front, We can see the home button at bottom while thick bezels are present at top and bottom.

The 3.5mm audio jack is visible at the top, while Power & Volume rocker buttons are visible at one of the sides.

Apart from this Render leak, tipster Roland Quandt tweeted about upcoming Moto device with model no XT-180x with codename of “Sanders” which appears to be Moto X 2017. As per him, the phone will be powered by octa-core chipset  Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC f along with Adreno 506 GPU and two RAM variants i.e. 3 GB / 4 GB RAM and 32 GB/ 64 GB of native storage. In terms of camera, it comes with dual-cameras on back with at least one of the weighs in at 13MP.

He also tweeted about another Motorola phone codenamed “Albus” which is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. It has similar specs to the Moto Z Play, but with a 12MP camera on back.

Rumors have floated on the web for some time about the death of Moto X series, with Lenovo & Motorola concentrating on Moto Z devices. Yet, it seems that the rumors of death of Moto X series are exaggerated and Moto X 2017 is already in works. Thanks to a new leak on Google+, three images of alleged Moto X 2017 have surfaced on the web which gives us a sneak peek into the design aspects and major technical specifications of the device.

The first two images are the front display and the back panel of Moto X 2017, while the third image show the device in recovery mode. The recovery mode  image indicates that Moto X 2017 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor i.e. MSM8953 SOC along with 3 GB of RAM and comes with 32 GB of internal storage. It also indicates a model number of XT 1801.

The front display image shows an oblong or curved home button at the bottom which probably also integrates the fingerprint sensor. The Motorola branding is visible at the top. The back panel image show a white label at the bottom which also reveal the model number XT1801. The main camera module seems to be a dual camera setup with two camera sensors placed inside one big single circular module. At the moment, we have no information on the capacities of camera sensors or other technical specifications of the device.
