Nothing has added 6GB + 128GB versions of the Phone (4a) and Phone (4b) in India. The Phone (4a) 6GB model is listed at ₹39,999 and the Phone (4b) 6GB model at ₹35,999. Both are the cheapest way into their respective phones right now. On Gizmochina’s figures, both also cost more than those phones did at launch with more RAM.

What the new variants cost against the older ones
Gizmochina reports both the launch prices and the current prices of the 8GB configurations. Set beside the new 6GB models, the gap is easy to see.
- Nothing Phone (4a) — new 6GB + 128GB variant at ₹39,999. Gizmochina reports the 8GB + 128GB model launched at ₹31,999 and now sells for ₹44,999.
- Nothing Phone (4b) — new 6GB + 128GB variant at ₹35,999. Gizmochina reports the 8GB + 128GB model launched at ₹34,999 and now sells for ₹39,999.
So the new entry-level Phone (4a) asks ₹8,000 more than the original entry-level Phone (4a). It also gives you 2GB less RAM. The Phone (4b) is a gentler version of the same trade at ₹1,000 more. Gizmochina reports that both phones’ 8GB configurations have already risen in price at least once since launch.
Read against today’s higher 8GB prices, the 6GB models look like a discount. Read against what these phones launched at, they are a cheaper-looking version that still costs more than the original. That is a component swap rather than a price cut.
Everything else is unchanged
The new variants differ from their siblings only in memory. The rest of the hardware carries over.
