Zynga have released a Third Person Shooter for Android, Respawnables.
Yep. It’s another Team Fortress style game with a cartoony theme.
You can pick a name for your character, though the game did this on its own for me. Scary huh?
Guess it used my device user name or my Google username. Anyway you can customize the character from the in-game shop.
You can also buy various weapons from the game using the in-game currency which you have to earn or buy. Thankfully you can get some free from the Daily reward system as well.
Here is a screenshot which I managed to take before being shot upon by the AI player.
The game offers both Single Player and Multiplayer modes. Though you won’t be playing Single Player for long when the missions run out, but it is good for some quick offline action.
The Multiplayer Mode however offers a better challenge where you can play Teams or one on ones. It also has facebook integration so you can take on your friends.
Use the D-pad on the left side of the screen to move, swipe on the center of the screen to look and hold the button on the right to shoot. Couldn’t be simpler.
Here is the video trailer for the game:
Note: The game has optional IAPs.
