Suunto has launched the Race 3S, a titanium trail watch that weighs 56 g. Its product page rates the watch for up to 38 hours of dual-band GPS tracking. Suunto adds that actual battery life may vary with settings, usage and operating conditions.

The Suunto Race 3S also packs a 2,000-nit AMOLED display, 64GB of storage and free global offline maps. It costs $599 in the US, and North American pre-orders ship from October 29, 2026.
Suunto Race 3S Pricing and Availability
Suunto’s US store lists the Race 3S in Titanium Black at $599. A pre-order window runs from October 15 to 29, with estimated shipping on October 29, 2026. You can order it from Suunto’s product page.
In Australia, the watch costs A$999, with stock expected from October 29, according to idevice. We could not confirm UK or European pricing at the time of writing.
For context on where $599 sits, Garmin’s third-generation MARQ line starts at $2,500.
Display, battery and maps
The 1.32-inch AMOLED panel peaks at 2,000 nits. Suunto says that makes it 233% brighter than the Race S. Sapphire crystal glass covers the screen.
Battery life is the headline number. Suunto quotes up to 38 hours with dual-band GPS and up to 10 days in training mode. Power comes from a high-density silicon-carbon battery.
Treat 38 hours as a best case rather than a guarantee. Suunto’s own footnote ties real-world battery life to your settings, usage and conditions.
Navigation uses dual-band L1 and L5 positioning. The offline maps include contour lines, place names, roads and water. They download to the watch, and Suunto says they are yours to keep at no charge.
The watch also connects with more than 800 partner services from across the sports world, according to Suunto.
