A Vivo mystery phone has been teased on Weibo. The phone is set to be launched next week in China.

Vivo Mystery Phone

The device has a tagline which translates to “Speak with Strength”, but that is likely related to the processor, which powers the device. According to a hands-on video posted by a reviewer, the Vivo mystery phone is faster than the Vivo Z21.

Vivo Mystery Phone

The Vivo Z21 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, so the mystery device could either have a more powerful chipset, or is better optimized.

Vivo Mystery Phone

The design of the Vivo mystery phone does look very similar to the Vivo X23, which also has a water-drop notch display. Speaking of the display, the phone’s screen is almost the same size as the Vivo Z21, so the mystery device should be equipped with a 6.23-inch display.

Vivo Mystery Phone

We think that this device could be the start of a new series, something which is better than the Z21 but not as expensive as the X23. The new phone may not feature an in-display fingerprint scanner, and instead could come with a rear-placed sensor.

Vivo Mystery Phone

According to the official launch poster, the Vivo mystery phone will be announced on October 17th, in China. We will keep an eye out for more leaks about the device, and update you when we have more information.
