Sony begins global roll out of the Android 5.0 Lollipop Update to the Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact

A few weeks ago, Sony announced that it was rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for its Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact devices, in Europe.

Now the company has announced that the update is being rolled out Worldwide.

Sony also said that it will release the Lollipop update for the Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 Tablet next week. Well, the news doesn’t stop here. Sony also confirmed that the mid range phone, the Xperia C3 and the mid range phablet, the Xperia T2 Ultra, will also be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop, but no timeline has been given for the update.
