Sony has announced the Android M Developer Preview for some of its Xperia devices.
Here is the list of devices for which the new firmware is available:

- Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact
- Xperia Z2
- Xperia Z2 Tablet
- Xperia Z1
- Xperia Z1 Compact
- Xperia Z
- Xperia Z Ultra
- Xperia ZL
- Xperia Tablet Z
- Xperia E3
- Xperia M2
- Xperia T3
- Xperia T2 Ultra
- Xperia T
- Xperia S
- Xperia L
Sony warns users that the AOSP firmware, is only available for devices with an unlocked boot loader. Also, it is not suitable for normal use, as the Preview software do not yet have the modem and the camera.
You have to manually create your own Android M Preview image, and flash the firmware on your eligible Sony Device by following this official guide.
