Samsung announces Galaxy Tab S 8.4 & 10.5, with Android 4.4 KitKat

Samsung have officially announced two new tablets, the Galaxy Tab 8.4 & the 10.5, at the Galaxy Premiere 2014, in New York.

Galaxy Tab S 10.51

The specifications of the devices were leaked yesterday, ahead of the announcement and were accurate.

Both tablets will sport a WQXGA Super AMOLED display, with a resolution of 2560×1600. The tablets also support LED Flash for the Rear Cameras. The tablets come in two versions, a WiFi only Model and one with support 2g, 3G and 4G LTE networks.

Samsung have loaded several of their apps such as Group Play, S-Note, S Translator, and also support for their wearable devices: the Galaxy Gear and the Galaxy Gear Fit. The Papergarden magazine service makes its debut on the Galaxy Tab S.. The tablets also have a built-in Fingerprint Scanner.
