Royal Revolt update brings a new hero for bonus levels, new music and more

Flare games have made some changes to their hit game, royal Revolt,  and have also added some new content to it.

Royal Revolt MainRoyal Revolt is one of the best-looking free games for Android. Not only that, it is also one of the few Tower Offense games available on google Play.

The change-log for the latest version:

IT’S MAGIC: Play as a Mage!
• MORE CONTROL: Improved tap-control.
• MORE MAGIC: Introducing four magical bonus missions.
• MORE POWER: Play with up to three spells.
• MORE FAIRNESS: Introducing gems for more valuable in-app purchases.
• MORE OF EVERYTHING: New music, new achievements, various improvements and fixes.

I noticed some comments at the Play Store which said that the game’s graphics has been updated, frankly I don’t notice any change in it. The music is good, and I was somewhat skeptical about the introduction of gems as an IAP (In-app-purchase). Although, there is some good news:

  • Free gems can be obtained from the in game shop which uses the Tap Joy system.
  • Gems are also auto acquired when you gain a star in a level. (unconfirmed)
  • And I did get some gems for free, maybe it is a daily bonus like the gold.

Tip: They also offer free coins on a daily basis. So make sure you collect it everyday, for those upgrades. I hope they didn’t replace this with the gems.

Anyway if you are new to the game, I suggest you watch this video to know more:

Even with the IAPs its still quite good. So download it from Google Play.
