Poco has confirmed the Poco C31 launch date in India. The entry-level phone will be announced on September 30th as a Flipkart exclusive, and it looks like a rebranded version of the Redmi 9 Activ.
The phone runs on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11, and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor clocked at 2.3GHz, with a PowerVR8320 GPU. The Redmi 9 Active is equipped with a 6.53-inches HD+ water-drop notch display that supports a screen resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, has a 20:9 Aspect Ratio, 60Hz Refresh Rate, 1500:1 contrast ratio, NTSC 70% Colour Gamut, 400 nits brightness, and supports Sunlight display.
The phone has 4GB/6GB of LPDDR4x RAM, with 64GB/128GB of eMMC 5.1 on-board storage. You may further expand the storage by using the dedicated microSD card slot. that is part of the triple card tray.
The Redmi 9 Activ sports dual cameras on the rear, with a 13MP primary camera that has an f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor, f/2.4 aperture lens, and an LED Flash. The selfie camera housed in the notch is a 5 megapixels, f/2.2 aperture lens.
The handset packs a 5000 mAh battery and supports 10W Charging using a micro USB port. The device has a fingerprint scanner on the back panel. The Redmi 9 Activ supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/AGPS/GLONASS/BEIDOU and has a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone weighs 194g, and sizes up at 164.9 x 77.07 x 9.0mm.
