The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G has debuted in India. The premium mid-ranger boasts some powerful specs.
The M52 5G sports a 6.7-inches Infinity-O Super AMOLED Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The device runs on One UI 3.1 based on Android 11, and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 5G processor, with an Adreno 642L GPU. It has 6GB/8GB of RAM, and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage, with support for up to 1TB of additional storage via a microSD card slot. The phone is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
The selfie lens is a 32MP f/2.2 aperture sensor. The main camera set up on the phone comprises a 64MP f/1.8 aperture lens, a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture , a 5MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, and an LED Flash. Samsung has fitted the Galaxy M52 5G with a 5000mAh battery that charges over a USB Type-C port, and supports 25W fast charging. The phone sums up to 164.2 x 76.4 x 7.4mm, and weighs 173g.
The Galaxy M52 5G is the first Galaxy M series device to not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. Instead, it relies on the USB Type-C port for audio, and supports Dolby Atmos. The handset supports 11 5G bands including 5G N1(2100), N3 (1800), N5 (850), N7(2600) N8(900), N20 (800), N28(700), N66(AWS-3), N40 (2300), N41 (2500) and N78 (3500), 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ax 2.4GHz/5GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/GLONASS, and NFC.

Samsung has priced the Galaxy M52 5G at Rs. 29,999 for the base version with 6GB/128GB, while the 8GB/128GB model costs Rs. 31,999. The phone comes in two colourways: Blazing Blue and Icy Blue, and will go on sale from October 3rd on Amazon India’s store. Buyers can avail an instant discount of 10% when purchasing the phone using a HDFC Bank Debit Card, Credit Card or EMI. In addition, Amazon is offering a coupon that gives a flat Rs. 1000 discount off of the price.
