Ahead of the official launch of Oppo Reno next week in China on April 10, details of the variants of the phone are revealed thanks to the listing of the phone on Chinese e-commerce portals. Based on the listing, Oppo Reno will come in three variants with 6GB & 8GB RAM having storage of 128GB & 256GB. The listing reveals that Oppo Reno will come in the following RAM & internal storage variants:

  • 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM
  • 6GB RAM + 256GB ROM
  • 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM

Oppo Reno Specs

We have already seen the Antutu benchmark of Oppo Reno which reveals the hardware specifications of the device. Based on Antutu, Oppo Reno comes with Model Number PCAM00 featuring a Full HD+ display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 along with 6GB of RAM. It comes with 256GB of internal storage and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) based operating system.

Oppo Reno Renders confirm Notchless Display

AndroidPure has received some Oppo Reno leaked renders, which gives us the best look at the upcoming flagship phone. The photos also confirm the notchless design of the device.

The Reno has minimal bezels on the forehead and the sides, and a slightly thicker but still a very thin chin. What is surprising is that the frame isn’t as thick as it looked in a previous leak, thought the pictures showed the phone inside a case. We cannot see the wedge pop-up selfie camera on the phone, because it isn’t featured in these renders.

The Oppo Reno leaked photos highlight the dual cameras with an LED Flash on the back panel. One of these lenses has been touted to be a 48MP camera, which supports up to 10x optical zoom.

And the pictures show the large OPPO branding, along with the Designed by Oppo branding on the rear, which kind of ruins an otherwise stellar looking phone. The phone has been confirmed to be equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner, but the lack of an icon for it on the screen is rather odd.

The Oppo Reno leaked renders shows the 4 colours that the device will be available in. The company’s VP Brian Shen had previously revealed the names of the colours, which are Nebula Purple, Pink, Sea Green and Midnight Black.

Also confirmed are some of the Oppo Reno specs, which includes NFC, a 48MP primary sensor for rear camera module and support for VOOC 3.0 Flash Charging. We also know that the Reno has a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port and that it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor.

The Oppo Reno launch date is scheduled for April 10th, in China. And a mid-ranged version which was spotted on TENAA could be announced too. We are about a week away from it, but we wouldn’t be surprised if we run into more leaks about the phone.
