Moto has launched the Motorola Edge 2022 in the U.S. The flagship 5G phone sports a 6.6-inches Full HD+ OLED display with 144Hz Refresh Rate.
The screen has a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, support HDR10+, 10-bit DCI P3, a 20:9 Aspect Ratio, and houses an In-display fingerprint reader. The selfie lens has a 32MP sensor with an f/2.45 aperture, and supports FHD video capture at 30fps.
The device runs on Android 12 with My UX, and supports Google Assistant. It has 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1050 processor, with an ARM Mali-G610 MC3 GPU.
The Motorola Edge 2022 packs a 5,000 mAh battery that charges via a USB Type-C port, and supports 30W TurboPower fast charging, 15W Wireless Charging, and 5W Reverse Charging. The main camera array on the rear panel consists of triple cameras with a 50 megapixels primary sensor that has an f/1.8 aperture, and supports Optical Image Stabilization. The other 2 cameras on the phone include a 13MP Ultra-wide angle lens with a 120° FOV, an f/1.5 aperture, Macro Vision, a 2MP Depth Sensor, and an LED Flash. The cameras support 4K video recording @30fps, FHD @30/60fps.
Connectivity-wise, the cell phone supports a Single SIM Card, 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax 2.4 GHz | 5 GHz | 6Hz Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, AGPS, LTEPP, SUPL, GLONASS, and Galileo. Audio options on the mobile include Dolby Atmos, Stereo Speakers, 3 Microphones. The smartphone does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Moto has priced the Motorola Edge 2022 at $499.99 in the U.S. (approx Rs 40,000). The phone comes in a single colour: Mineral Grey. The unlocked version will be available via Amazon, BestBuy and Motorola’s store. The device will also be available via the following carriers: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Spectrum Mobile, US Cellular, and Visible.
