Moto G5 with 5-inch FHD, SD430, 3 GB RAM launched in India for Rs. 11,999

Lenovo launched Motorola Moto G5 Plus just few weeks back at a price starting Rs. 14,999 for the 16 GB Storage + 3 GB RAM variant. Today the company has launched the standard variant i.e. Moto G5 in India at a price of Rs. 11,999 and it will be exclusively available starting midnight today at Amazon India. Lenovo has launched just a single variant  of Moto G5 with 3 GB RAM, unlike G5 Plus which also came with 4 GB RAM variant. There is no 2 GB RAM variant also which some of us expected the company to announce for India at a lower price point.

Moto G5 sports a 5-inch Full HD 1080p display with Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection and is powered by 1.4 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 430 (MSM8937) processor along with 3 GB of RAM. It comes with 16 GB of internal storage and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat based operating system. We noticed that there is no App drawer present in the Moto G5 UI which is odd.

In terms of camera, it features a 13 MP main rear camera with LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, 1080p video recording and another 5 MP front-shooter with OmniVision OV5693 sensor, f/2.2 aperture. It is backed by a 2800 mAh battery along with rapid charging support. It comes with support for 4G LTE along with VOLTE.
