Moto Edge 30 Ultra with 200MP camera launched

Motorola has launched a phone with a 200MP camera. This is the Moto Edge 30 Ultra.

The flagship phone sports a 6.67-inches Full HD+ OLED display that supports 144Hz Refresh Rate. It has a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, supports 10-bit DCI P3, HDR10+, has a 20:9 Aspect Ratio, 92.12% screen-to-body ratio, 1250 nits brightness, and 360Hz Touch Sampling Rate. The display is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and houses an in-display fingerprint scanner. Other sensors on the phone include a Proximity, an Ambient Light, an Accelerometer, a Gyroscope, an SAR Sensor, and a Magnetometer (compass).

The selfie lens on the device is a 60MP snapper with an f/2.2 aperture. The phone runs on Android 12 with My UX, Google Assistant, and has 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and upto 256GB of storage. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 octa-core processor, with an Adreno 660 GPU.

Motorola has packed a 4610mAh battery in the Edge 30 Ultra, it supports 125W TurboPower fast charging via a USB Type-C, port, 50W Wireless Charging, and 10W Wireless Power Sharing.

The main camera array on the Moto Edge 30 Ultra consists of a 200 megapixels primary sensor with an f/1.9 aperture, Optical Image Stabilization, a 50MP Ultra-wide angle lens with a 114° FOV, an f/2.2 aperture, Macro Vision, a 12MP Depth Sensor, that has an f/1.6 aperture, LED Flash, and supports 8K video recording @30fps, 4K @30/60fps, FHD 30/60fps.

Connectivity-wise, the Moto Edge 30 Ultra supports Dual SIM Cards, 5G and 4G LTE mobile networks, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, etc. While the smartphone does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack, it supports Dolby Atmos, has Stereo Speakers, and 2 Microphones. The handset measures 161.76 x 73.5 x 8.39mm, and weighs 198.5g.

Moto has priced the Moto Edge 30 Ultra starting at €900 in Europe, for the 128GB trim. The phone is available in 2 colours: Interstellar Black and Starlight White.
