Micromax has launched the Canvas 5 Sliver in India.
The phone flaunts a 4.8-inch HD AMOLED display, and is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The Canvas Sliver 5 has a metallic frame made from aircraft grade aluminum. The phone has a metal body, reinforced with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, but the device weighs only 97g, and measures just 5.1mm end to end making it the World’s slimmest and lightest phone with support for 4G LTE networks.
The Canvas Sliver 5 runs on Android Lollipop 5.0 and comes with several preloaded apps like Scandid, Swiftkey, Hotstar, Quikr, Cleanmaster, Snapdeal, and more.
The Canvas Sliver 5 is powered by a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, and 2GB RAM (DDR3). It comes with 16GB of internal storage.
The phone sports an 8 megapixel rear camera with SONY IMX219 sensor, Auto-Focus, 4P Largan Lens and Blue Glass Filter and a 5 megapixel front camera with intelligent beauty mode for selfies.
A Dirac HD sound and NXP Smart Power Amplifier provides for a great audio experience with loud sound and deep bass. The phone packs in several sensors: Light Sensor, Gravity Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Magnetic Sensor and Accelerometer Sensor.
The Canvas Sliver 5 is backed by a 2,000 mAH high density Lithium Polymer battery which will offer a 30% longer lasting battery life, thanks to the optimized UI.
The Micromax Canvas Sliver 5 has been priced at Rs 17,999. The phone comes with a free 4G SIM and double data offer from Airtel which doubles the 4G data amount for any consumer activating the 4G SIM. The Canvas Sliver 5 will be available at the end of June, across India.
