Lenovo has launched two smartphones today in India, the P70 and the A5000.
Both the phones, are touted to deliver an enhanced battery life, and pack a whopping 4,000 mAh battery.
Let’s take a look at the Lenovo P70 first. It flaunts a 5.0-inch HD IPS Display (720p), with 5-point multitouch. The phone runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat. The P70 is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek True8Core (octa-core) MT6752 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz, and 2GB RAM and a ARM Mali T760-MP2 700 MHz GPU.
The P70 has 16 GB of internal storage, and suuports up to 32 GB of expandable storage via a micro SD card slot. It has a 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and Auto-Focus, and a 5 Megapixel front camera (fixed focus).
The P70 is a Dual SIM device (Micro), which supports 4G LTE (FDD 800/1800/2100/2600 MHz), 2G, 3G networks, as well as regular connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, GPS/A-GPS, FM Radio. The Lenovo P70 is available in one color: Midnight Blue. The phone measures 142 x 71.8 x 8.9 mm and weighs 149g.
The phone comes bundled with several pre-installed apps including Facebook, Twitter, WeChat, Skype and games like Asphalt 8, Real Football 2015, Spiderman Ultimate Power.Bundled Lenovo DOit Apps included SHAREit (free wireless photo sharing), Security (antivirus and speedup), SYNCit (backup/restore contacts, call logs, sms).
The 4000 mAh battery delivers up to 46 hours talktime on 2G and 18 hours on 3G. The battery offers up to 34 days of Standby on 2G, and 29 days on 3G.
The Lenovo P70 has been priced at Rs 15,999 and is available From Lenovo’s TheDoStore.
Lenovo A5000:
The Lenovo A5000 had been nicknamed as The “Road Warrior“, and sports a 5.0-inch HD IPS Display (720p), with 5-point multitouch and 300 ppi. The phone runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat. The P70 is powered by a MediaTek quad-core MT6782 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, and 1GB RAM.
The A5000 has 8 GB of internal storage, and suuports up to 32 GB of expandable storage via a micro SD card slot. It has a 8 Megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and Auto-Focus, and a 2 Megapixel front camera (fixed focus).
The A5000 is a Dual SIM device (Micro + regular), which supports 2G, 3G networks, as well as regular connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, GPS/A-GPS, FM Radio,
The Lenovo A5000 is available in two colours: Black, White. The phone measures 140 x 71.4 x 9.8 mm and weighs 160g.
The A5000 also includes the same pre-loaded apps and games that the P70 has.
The A5000’s battery delivers up to 35 hours talktime on 2G and 17 hours on 3G. The battery offers up to 32 days of Standby on 2G, and 33.5 days on 3G. It supports Quick Charge which can fully charge the battery in 3 hours while a 15-minute charge offers up to 4 hours of talk time.
