Infinix Note 12i with Helio G85, 50MP camera launched in India

The Infinix Note 12i has been announced in India. The 4G phone had been launched a few months ago in Indonesia.

The mid-range device sports a 6.7-inches Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. It supports 60Hz Refresh Rate, 20:9 Aspect Ratio, has a 92% screen-to-body ratio, 1000 nits brightness, 180Hz Touch Sampling Rate, 100% DCI P3 Color Gamut, 100000:1 Color Contrast Ratio, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The selfie snapper on the mobile is an 8 megapixels camera that supports Face Unlock, and has Dual LED Flash modules.

The handset is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio-G85 processor clocked at 2.0GHz, with an ARM Mali-G52-MC2 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. Surprisingly, the Infinix Note 12i runs on Android 12 out the box instead of Android 13.

The battery in the phone has a capacity of 5000mAh, and supports 33W fast charging via a USB Type-C port. The triple camera array on the rear panel consists of a 50MP primary lens with an f/1.6 aperture, a 2MP Depth Sensor with an f/2.4 lens, a QVGA Camera, and Quad LED Flash. The mobile is capable of recording 2K videos at 30 frames per second.

Connectivity options on the Infinix Note 12i include Dual SIM cards and a decicated microSD card slot that supports up to 512GB of additional storage, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac | 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, Bluetooth 5, GPS, and A-GPS. The device has stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone from Infinix weighs 188g, and measures 164.43 x 76.6 x 8.03 mm. The phone has a fingerprint scanner, an ambient light sensor, G-Sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope, and an e-compass.

Infinix Note 12i price in India

The Infinix Note 12i has been priced at Rs. 9,999 in India. The phone will be available for purchase on 30th January, at Flipkart. The device comes in 2 colours: Metaverse Blue, and Force Black.
