Gionee has just launched a new mid range smartphone Gionee A1 Plus in India which is priced at Rs. 26,999 and will be available for sale across Indian retail stores starting today i.e. July 26. If you remember, Gionee A1 (Read Review) was launched in India just a few months back in March 2017 and the company skipped the A1 Plus launch in the country.
Gionee A1 Plus sports a 6-inch 1080p Full HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display along with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by 2.5 GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor. The phone comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage along with support for expandable storage via microSD card. It runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) based operating system with Amigo OS 4.0 on top of it.
A1 Plus features dual camera module at the rear consisting of 13 MP primary camera sensor with LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, 1/3.06″ sensor, 5P lens and another secondary 5MP camera sensor with f/2.2 aperture. On the front, you get a 20 MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture, 1/2.8″ sensor, 5P lens and selfie flash for shooting selfies even in low light.
In terms of dimensions, it measures 166.4 x 83.3 x 9.1 mm and weighs 226 grams. The phone is backed by 4550 mAh battery along with support for fast charging. Thanks to a big battery of 4550 mAh, it is 9.1 mm thick and weighs heavy at 226 grams.
