Apple’s M6 Mac mini is down to $779 at Amazon US, $120 below its $899 list price. It leads a small set of early Apple Black Friday deals that are already live, well ahead of Black Friday on November 27. The M5 Max Mac Studio, the 15-inch M5 MacBook Air and AirPods Max 2 are also marked down.
We read every price below from Amazon’s live listings on the morning of November 7, Pacific time. Several listings showed only one to four units left at that point. Prices and stock may have changed since.
M6 Mac mini deal: $779 for the base model
The M6 Mac mini with 16GB of memory and 256GB of storage costs $779 against a $899 list price. That list price matches Apple’s own starting price, which we covered when the M6 Mac mini and M5 Ultra Mac Studio went on sale. This configuration has a 12-core CPU and a 12-core GPU.
One buying note before you check out. The $779 model has 256GB of storage, which fills up quickly with photo libraries, apps and system updates. The Mac mini with 16GB and 512GB is $949, which is $150 off its $1,099 list price. If you plan to keep the machine for years, that extra $170 deserves a serious look.
Mac Studio with M5 Max: $2,299
The Mac Studio with the M5 Max chip is $2,299 at Amazon, $200 below its $2,499 list price. Apple’s own store lists the same $2,499 price point. This configuration pairs an 18-core CPU and a 32-core GPU with 36GB of memory and 512GB of storage. It also includes 10Gb Ethernet.
15-inch M5 MacBook Air: from $1,299
Two 15-inch configurations are discounted, each in one specific finish:
- 15-inch MacBook Air, 16GB/512GB, Silver: $1,299, down from $1,499 ($200 off)
- 15-inch MacBook Air, 16GB/1TB, Starlight: $1,549, down from $1,799 ($250 off)
We only checked these two colours, so other finishes may sell at different prices. The Silver 512GB listing showed a single unit left during our check.
AirPods Max 2 in Starlight: $449
The AirPods Max 2 in Starlight are $449 at Amazon. That is $100 under the $549 Apple charges on its own store. Don’t assume every colour is at this price. The Midnight model showed as unavailable at Amazon when we checked.
