Gionee India has just announced Gionee A1 smartphone in India targeting selfie obsessed consumers. Gionee A1 competes in the same set of selfie centric smartphones such as Vivo V5, Vivo Y66 and Oppo F1s smartphones. The odd thing with Gionee A1 launch is, the company has not revealed the price of the device yet. Gionee A1 will be available in three colors i.e. Gray, Black and Gold. The pre-booking starting on March 31 through offline retail channels and will also be available on Amazon India portal.
Gionee A1 sports a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display, powered by 1.8 GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor along with 4 GB of RAm. It comes with 64 GB of internal storage and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) operating system with Amigo OS UI on top.
In terms of camera, it features a 16 MP front-shooter with f/2.0 aperture, 1/3.06″ sensor, 5P lens, selfie flash and another 13 MP main rear camera with LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, 1/3.0+” sensor, 5P lens. In terms of dimensions, it measures 154.5 x 76.5 x 8.5 mm and weighs 182 grams. It is backed by a 4010 mAh battery along with fast charging support.

The company has skipped announcing Gionee A1 Plus for indian smartphone market.Gionee A1 plus comes with dual camera setup and was announced along with Gionee A1 during the Mobile World congress 2017 few weeks back.
