The Galaxy S26 FE is expected to launch in India on September 18. A leaked pricing document suggests it will cost more than its predecessor. According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, who posted an alleged official document on X, the base 8GB/128GB variant will be priced at INR 69,999. The 8GB/256GB variant is tipped at INR 79,999. This is a rumor, not a confirmed price, and Samsung has not published Indian pricing as of this writing.
GSMArena, SamMobile and ytechb have all picked up the leak. But all three trace back to the same single tipster document. That is wider pickup, not independent confirmation. Nobody has an India price from Samsung itself yet.
What would change from the Galaxy S25 FE
The Galaxy S25 FE launched in India at ₹59,999 for 8GB/128GB and ₹65,999 for 8GB/256GB. If the leaked figures hold, that works out to a ₹10,000 jump on the base model. The 256GB variant would rise by roughly ₹14,000. The leak also suggests the 12GB/512GB variant will not come to India, at least initially, unlike some other markets where the S26 FE is already on sale.
The Galaxy S26 FE went on sale in select global markets on September 4. India would be joining a few weeks behind that initial rollout. Samsung’s own global newsroom confirms the phone comes in Blueberry, Graphite and Pistachio colors, with 8GB RAM paired with 128GB, 256GB or 512GB storage. The battery is a 4,900mAh cell with 45W wired and 15W wireless charging. That figure resolves a conflict between two of the leak reports, one of which had printed 5000mAh instead.
What to watch before September 18
A price increase this close to launch would not be unusual for Samsung’s FE line, which has crept upward each generation. Still, nothing here is official yet. Anyone planning to buy on day one should wait for Samsung India’s own listing rather than budgeting around a leaked document. The final number could still shift before the launch date.
