One of the most popular features of the Android Platform is the customization that many people enjoy.
This isn’t limited just to custom ROMs, you can also use apps to make things easier. Floating Point is one such app, which allows quick access to your favorite apps by placing a Floating icon on top of your apps. This allows you to open your favorite apps without closing the current app or game.
You can also use it to access system switches.
The available toggles:
- Screen brightness
- Mobile Data
- Screen Rotation
- Airplane mode
Although Floating Touch does not require Root permissions to function. it does offer some useful functions for rooted devices. Granting the app Root access will allow you to use the Home and Menu buttons.
Customizing “Floating Point”
You can change the colors of the Floating Panel, add and remove custom shortcuts, choose between 5 available floating points. You can also change the size of the pointer, and the alpha (transparency).
The Pro version allows you to Create Folders, and make your own floating points.
You can drag the pointer anywhere you want to on the screen. You can even hide it by long pressing on the pointer. To get it back just pull down the status bar and tap the entry to get the icon back on your homescreen.
You can use Floating touch’s Lock icon to lock your device’s screen. To do this, you must grant the app device administrator permission.
