Coolpad and LeEco announced their first smartphone from their joint collaboration as Coolpad LeEco Cool1 in China few months ago. Now, the company has launched Cool1 in India under Coolpad and will be available for sale exclusively on Amazon India. During their original launch in China, both 3 GB and 4 GB RAM variants were announced, but for India it seems that company is only launching the 4 GB RAM variant which is priced at Rs. 13,999.
Cool1 sports a 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p display with a pixel density of 403 ppi, powered by 1.8 GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 MSM8976 processor along with Adreno 510 GPU and 4 GB of RAM. It comes with 32 GB of internal storage and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system with LeEco EUI on top. Presence of LeEco is clearly felt with the LeEco EUI custom UI running the smartphone and even the back panel shows “LeEco Inside” below the Coolpad logo.
In terms of camera, it comes with dual 13 MP main rear dual camera setup with intelligent viewfinder, black color technology, BFC algorithm, simultaneous focus and dual 6P lens. When it comes to front camera, Cool1 comes with a 8 MP front shooter along with support for three-dimensional facial beauty features.
It is backed by 4000 mAh high density battery with cell density of 700 Wh/L claimed as highest in industry along with support for intelligent power-saving and reverse charging.
The fingerprint sensor at the back can unlock the phone in 0.15 seconds and take a snap too using the fingerprint. In terms of connectivity it comes with support for 4G LTE along with VOLTE.
Cool 1 will be available for purchase from January 5th onwards exclusively on Amazon.in via open sales.
