Finally after months of anticipation, Gameloft have released the 8th game in the Asphalt series.

Asphalt 8 Airborne

Yes it is true, Asphalt 8: Airborne has been launched on Android.

After previously facing delays in launching the game on August 8th, Gameloft have simultaneously released the game on Android and iOs.

The game features 47 cars, and 80%  of those are new ones. The biggest change to the game will be the introduction of ramps for….you know what, Airborne stunts. The various locations in the game include Venice, French Guiana, Iceland, Nevada Desert, etc

The career mode features nearly 180 events and if that is not enough you can get some more fun from the online multiplayer modes. You can either play in a simultaneous race (realtime multiplayer) or play against ghost challengers in asynchronous mode, similar to Real Racing 3’s race mode, I believe.

Here is the launch trailer:

And some screenshots of the game:

The game weighs a whopping 1.5 Gigabytes and I am still waiting for it to finish downloading onto my Nexus 7.

You can buy Asphalt 8: Airborne for just $1 from:

Note: The game has optional IAPs.
