Lenovo India is rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update for the Lenovo Vibe S1 in the Country. The news comes from the company’s India Marketing Head, Anuj Sharma.

Lenovo Vibe S1

The Vibe S1 becomes the fourth device from the Chinese OEM, to get the latest version of Google’s operating system. The other three were the Lenovo K3 Note, A7000, and the Vibe P1. The update is being rolled out to the Vibe S1 devices, over the air (OTA).

It certainly is good to see a company offering the updates for all of its devices, which is a rare thing even in 2016. It may be a slow process, but hey better late than never right?

And it was only a week ago, that Lenovo had announced a price cut for the Vibe S1, in India. The phone which was launched in 2015, is now available for Rs 12999.
