If you have waited to get your hands on Android 5.0.1, here is some news for you. Google just pushed out Android 5.0.2 Factory images for “nakasi” i.e for Nexus 7 (Wi-Fi) (2012 version) and is available to download from Google servers. This comes almost immediately after the roll-out of Android 5.0.1 to many nexus devices.
One interesting thing to note here though is that, Google pulled out the Android 5.0.1 Factory images for “nakasi” i.e Nexus 7 (Wi-Fi) (2012 version) from the download servers. I am not sure though why Google did that as the Android 5.0.1 factory images for other nexus devices are still available for download.
The build for Android 5.0.2 is LRX22G. As the factory images are already up, OTA update may follow soon. We are though not sure about any timeline for Android 5.0.2 for other Nexus devices, but we will keep you posted as and when we hear more about it.
