It’s nearly time for the first flagships of 2022 to arrive, and the OnePlus 10 launch date has been confirmed by the company. The OnePlus 10 Pro design has also been revealed in official renders, here’s your first look at the next-gen phone.
OnePlus 10 Pro design
The OnePlus 10 Pro has a tall panel, with a hole-punch selfie camera placed in the top left corner of the screen. The display has curved edges on the sides, with narrow chin and forehead bezels.
If you look closely at the image, you can spot the earpiece located in the top bezel. The OnePlus 10 Pro design isn’t exactly new, especially on the front.
The left side of the frame is home to the volume rocker keys, while the right-hand side has the power button and the alert slider switch. The bottom of the phone has the USB Type-C port for charging the battery, data transfer and audio. A speaker grille is also seen next to the Type-C connector, there is no 3.5mm headphone jack, but it’s not surprising since the company did away with the popular audio port a couple of years ago, to promote the sales of its wireless earphones and earbuds.
The rear panel is where you can see the OnePlus 10 Pro design differ from other phones, it has a camera bump that appears to be flowing towards the edge of the frame. The triple lens array is arranged symmetrically, with three cameras and a ring LED Flash. The Chinese OEM is continuing its partnership with Swedish camera maker, Hasselblad, for the upcoming flagship.

The OnePlus 10 Pro will be available in 2 colourways: Black and Green.
OnePlus 10 Pro launch date
OnePlus will announce the OnePlus 10 and the 10 Pro, on January 11th, in China. The device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, and will run on Android 12 with ColorOS on top, at least in its home country. The rest of the world will get a hybrid OxygenOS + ColorOS software, that has already drawn the ire of fans, due to bugs and poor optimization with regard to general performance.
OnePlus is also set to announce the OnePlus 9RT in India, the device will be unveiled on January 14th.
