Realme GT Neo 2 with Snapdragon 870, 120Hz AMOLED to launch on October 13th in India

Realme is prepping to launch a new flagship phone in India. The Realme GT Neo 2 is set to debut in our Country next week. In case you missed it, the device was announced a couple of weeks ago in China.

So, here is what it looks like. The phone features a 3.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G octa-core processor, with an Adreno 650 GPU, 6GB/8GB/12GB of RAM, and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. You may optionally extend the memory using the virtual RAM expansion feature, that gives you up to 7GB of RAM, by using your storage space.

The GT Neo 2 is equipped with a  6.62-inches Full HD+ E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The device packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 65W SuperDart Fast Charging over a USB Type-C port. The phone sports a 16MP selfie camera with an FOV of 78° and a large f/2.5 aperture. The phone has Dual Stereo Speakers and Dual Microphones and supports Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio.

The main camera on the rear is a 64MP primary lens, with a 78.6° FOV, an f/1.8 aperture, assisted by an 8 megapixels ultra-wide angle lens with a 119° FOV, an f/2.3 aperture, a 2MP Macro Sensor with 4cm focus, an f/2.4 aperture, and an LED Flash.

Besides 5G mobile networks, the GT Neo 2 also supports 4G VoLTE Wi-Fi 2.4/5 GHz Dual band, Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 4 & IEEE802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS / GLONSS / BEIDOU / GALILEO / QZSS / and Navic. The phone weighs just under 200g, and measures 162.9 x 75.8 x 8.96mm.

Realme GT Neo 2 expected price in India

The phone’s price in China starts at about Rs. 29,000 in China for the 8GB/128GB model, while the 8GB/256GB version costs around Rs. 31000). The top-end variant with 12GB/256GB costs approximately Rs. 34,000. So we can expect a similar price range in India as well. Realme will launch the GT Neo 2 in India on October 13th, via a livestream that has been scheduled for 12:30 PM.
