OnePlus is rolling out the OxygenOS 10.5.10 update for OnePlus Nord. No, it does not bring Android 11 to the midrange device. It’s more of a bug fix patch.

The firmware included the latest Security Patch, which is the December Security Patch. The company states that it bumps the Google Mobile Services version to 2020.09. The OxygenOS 10.5.10 update for OnePlus Nord adds a new app called OnePlus Store, which can be used to manage your OnePlus account. It also provides a way to contact, customer support and includes exclusive offers for members. This app can be uninstalled.

The official release notes for the update says some bugs have been fixes, and the stability of the software has been improved. It does not go into details about the issues that were patched.

  • Europe: 10.5.10.AC01BA
  • Global: 10.5.10.AC01AA

If you remember, OnePlus drew flak last month when it announced that it will not provide more than 1 OS update for the OnePlus Nord N100 and Nord N10 5G. But, this shouldn’t affect the OnePlus Nord. Users at the official community have not taken kindly to the delays, and many have vented their frustration stating that the Chinese OEM has not updated their devices to Android 11 even though the latest version has been available for OnePlus’ flagship devices since October.
