Micromax is back in the Indian smartphone market with two devices. The devices are part of the new Micromax IN series, which the company claims is Made for India.
Micromax IN Note 1
The first device is the Micromax IN Note 1, and it is equipped with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 21:9 aspect ratio, and 450 nits brightness. The screen has a 16MP punch-hole camera in the top center. The device runs on stock Android 10, and the company has promised 2 years of OS upgrades.
The handset is powered by a 2.0 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor with 4GB of RAM, and 64GB/128GB of storage, and has a dedicated microSD card slot that supports up to 256GB of additional memory.
The Micromax IN Note 1 is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery which supports 18W Fast Charging over a USB Type-C port. The phone has quad cameras on the rear comprising a 48MP primary lens, a 5MP ultra-wide angle lens, a 2MP macro sensor, a 2MP depth sensor and an LED Flash. The device has a rear fingerprint scanner.

The 2nd phone is called the Micromax IN 1b. It is an entry level device that is powered by a 2.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor with 2GB/4GB of RAM, and 32GB/64GB of storage. The device has a dedicated microSD card slot that supports up to 256GB of expandable memory.
The Micromax IN 1b sports a 6.52-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a water-drop notch for the 8MP selfie camera. The handset runs on stock Android 10 Go Edition.
The Micromax IN 1b has dual cameras on the rear with a 13MP primary lens and a 2MP secondary sensor, along with an LED flash. The phone is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery which supports 10W charging over a micro-USB port.
