We have already reported about the official launch date for Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, that was announced a few hours back by Xiaomi. The company has already confirmed the sliding mechanism of the upcoming device, which has a high screen to body ratio.
A new official teaser from Xiaomi suggests something new about the hardware of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3. The teaser released from the official handle of Xiaomi China indicates that Mi Mix 3 may come with 10GB of RAM.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 10GB RAM and 5G support?
The device could also include support for 5G mobile networks. If you remember, we have heard some rumours about the 5G support in the 3rd generation of the Mix series.
Do we really need 10GB RAM in phones? Of course not, even 4GB is excessive. RAM will not speed up a phone, it depends on the processor and the quality of the storage used, i.e., UFS > eMMC. More RAM will help only by keeping more apps open in the background, which may actually result in the battery draining faster. On the other hand, 5G support will be very useful, but we are yet to see a 5G network rollout in most of the countries.

Of course, this is all pure speculation, and 10G can actually mean something entirely different. We will know for sure if Mi Mix 3 may come with 10GB RAM and 5G support, on October 25, when the phone will be launched in Beijing, China.

At the moment, we can only speculate about the hardware specifications of Mi Mix 3 though you can safely assume a Snapdragon 845 processor along with 6GB/ 8GB of RAM. The company has already confirmed a sliding mechanism for the device separating the front display and rear portion helping in achieve much better screen to body ratio
