Noodlecake Games has released a good platformer RPG for Android devices called, Devious Dungeon.
The game was released earlier this year on iOS, by Ravenous Games, of Random Heroes fame.
In fact, Devious dungeon looks and plays very similarly to Random Heroes, but with major changes in the game elements.
Controls:
You control the character using the on screen buttons. The arrow keys move your hero left or right, the A button can be used to jump, while the B button is the attack/action key.
Experience and leveling up stats:
Your character gains experience by slaying enemies. Once you level up, you can choose to upgrade one of your stats:
- Strength affects the Damage you deliver.
- Stamina increases your Hit Points.
- Dexterity increases your chances for Critical Hits.
Armory and Arsenal:
You can buy weapons, armor, potions, rings, amulets and coins (IAPs uses real money) from Olaf’s Emporium.Unlike in Random Heroes, you cannot buy a more powerful weapon right away. You have to buy a weapon to unlock the next one, and so on. So be prepared for a bit of grinding.
You can earn coins by killing enemies, smashing objects in the game, and by completing quests.
There are Boss Battles after every 10 levels. You can earn more coins from these than from any other levels.

Devious Dungeon costs $1.99 and has optional IAPs.

You can easily get 50-100 coins per level, so ignore the IAPs.
