As you know, Google just announced the Nexus 5 and Android KitKat. We are yet to discover what new features, optimisations etc. are coming with the new Android 4.4 Kitkat. Obviously, the first device that comes with Android 4.4 is Google Nexus 5, but it will start rolling out soon to other devices too in coming weeks.
Most of Android users will be too eager to get their hands on Android 4.4 KitKat as soon as possible. As per Google’s blog announcement, the first batch of devices which will be recieving the Android 4.4 Kitkat in coming weeks are:
- Nexus 4,
- Nexus 7,
- Nexus 10,
- Samsung Galaxy S4 and
- HTC One Google Play edition.
If you own any one of the above devices, then you can get your hands on Kitkat soon. Obviously even from the list above, the first devices which will get the new version of Android will be the Nexus devices.
