The rumors mills Xiaomi Mi Note 2 are in no mood to stop. We already have an official launch date of 25th October and have seen numerous leaks around Xiaomi next flagship including those from today which indicated that LG may be manufacturing the dual edge curved display, the other one showed the dual camera at back and we even saw a teaser indicating some bezelless or borderless display.
Now we have spotted a new leak on Weibo, which comes in the form of the alleged presentation slide for the launch event and indicate the pricing of the top variant of Mi Note 2. Looking at the price slide that is leaked, Xiaomi appears to shatter its years old policy of pricing the smartphones low, much lower than any other brand. Even the flagship devices from Xiaomi like Mi 5 costs as much as half compared to any other mobile brand flagship device.
The PPT slide lists 5699 Yuan (~Rs. 57,000 or $850) as the price of upcoming Xiaomi Note 2 which we assume is the Snapdragon 821 + 6 GB + 128 GB /256 GB variant. If the slide turns out true, then this will be Xiaomi most expensive smartphone ever and we may see the era of affordable flagships gone soon in coming future. The image also indicates that Mi Note 2 will be available for sale in China starting November 1 at 10 AM.
Based on leaks / rumors till date, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 sports a 5.7 inch 2K curved display by LG, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 with pressure touch or 3D touch support along with 4 GB & 6 GB of RAM. It comes with ultrasonic fingerprint sensor along with dual camera and a ceramic body.
But considering this to be just a leak, we should wait for the official launch from the company which is not far away. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
