The rumor mill around Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is not in any mood to stop. Based on all these rumors / leaks, major hardware specifications of Mi Note 2, probable launch date of 14th / 24th of september is already known. Even we are aware of two variants of Mi Note 2 with curved dual edge display with lower variant powered by Snapdragon 820 along with 4 GB of RAM & 32 GB of internal storage whereas the higher variant is powered by Snapdragon 821 along with 6 GB of RAM & 128 GB of internal storage.Just yesterday, we reported the camera sensor capacities of the main dual camera setup.
Today, a series of images spotted on Weibo reveal full specifications of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 along with retail box images and some real photos of the device revealing the design & build of the Mi Note 2. As per this leak, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 sports a 5.7 inch 2K display along with 3D touch & is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 along with 4 GB / 6 GB of RAm and 64 GB / 128 GB/ 256 GB of internal storage. earlier leaks have suggested a 5.5 inch OLED display instead of 5.7 inch display. It runs on Xiaomi MIUI 8 based on Android 7.0 Nogat operating system.
In terms of camera, Mi Note 2 sports a 16 MP dual camera sensors at the back and a 5 MP front shooter for selfies. Earlier leak yesterday suggested a dual camera setup of 16 MP & 13 MP sensors instead of both 16 MP camera sensors. The dual camera setup visible in these images show the dual cameras placed side by side horizontally at top left corner of the device along with the LED flash placed next to it.
In terms of battery, it is backed by a 4000 mAh battery and comes with Qualcomm fast charge 3.0 support. It measures 155 X 77 X 6.5 mm. The dimensions if true indicates something interesting i.e. Xiaomi has managed to put a big 4,000 mAh battery inside just a 6.5 mm thin smartphone which we have not yet seen in any other smartphone.
