Xiaomi Mi A1 Android One with Dual Camera and Stock Android launched in India for Rs. 14,999

Xiaomi has just unveiled a new A series Android One smartphone under the name of “Xiaomi Mi A1”. With this new Xiaomi Mi A1, Google may have finally found out the perfect combination of an Android One Smartphone with hardware from Xiaomi at the decent price, powered by stock Android.

Xiaomi Mi A1 sports a full metal body and comes with 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD 2.5D curved glass LTPS display along with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The phone is powered by popular 2.0 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU and 4 GB of RAM. It comes with 64 GB of internal storage and runs on Android 7.1.2 (Nougat) stock Android operating system which is upgradable to Android 8.0 (Oreo).

In terms of camera, it comes with a dual camera module at rear consisting of a 12MP primary camera with wide-angle lens, f/2.2 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and another secondary 12MP camera with the telephoto lens with 2X optical zoom, f/2.6 aperture, PDAF. On the front, it offers a 5 MP front shooter for selfies and video calls.

In terms of dimensions, it measures 155.4 × 75.8 × 7.3 mm and weighs 165 grams. The phone is powered by 3080 mAH battery and includes support for 4G LTE along with VOLTE.

Xiaomi Mi A1 is priced at Rs. 14,999 (~$235) and will be available exclusively through online store Flipkart and Mi.com. It will also be available through Mi Home stores and other offline retailers starting September 12th at 12 noon. The phone will also available in other countries in Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and LATAM regions later on.
