Xiaomi is yet to announce any official details about launch of its next flagship device i.e. Xiaomi Mi 6 and going by rumors, it may be delayed till April 2017 attributed to “Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 not ready yet”. Mi 6 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, with an Antutu benchmark score of 2,10,329 leaked sometime back indicate the same. Earlier leak of a Snapdragon 835 powered prototype device indicate a score of 181,434 on Antutu. We still do not have any clue about details such as pricing or the variants of the device, till today.

Today a new rumor originating on Chinese social network weibo gives us some sneak peek into some of these unknown details of Mi 6. As per this rumor, Xiaomi Mi 6 will be coming in two variants powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, with standard variant coming with a flat display & 4 GB of RAM whereas the higher or premium variant coming with a curved display along with 6 GB of RAM. The rumor also indicates that there is no dual camera planned for Xiaomi Mi 6 and will come with just single camera setup.

THe rumor also talks about the possible pricing of the device with price starting at 1999 Yuan (~Rs. 20,000 or $290 ) for the standard variant of 4GB RAM & flat display, whereas the higher variant with curved display & 6 GB RAM may be priced at 2499 Yuan (~Rs. 25,000 or $365).

Earlier leaked Xiaomi Mi 6 (Alleged)

Mi 6 is expected to be powered by MIUI 9 based on either Android 7.0 or Android 7.1 Nougat operating system, with support for Xiaomi Fast charge. Other features of the device include an ultra narrow frame for the device and four antennas. We still have no rumors which indicate the possible battery capacity of the device. The existing Mi 5 is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery and we can expected an increment in battery capacity for sure for the next flagship.
