Xiaomi has announced a new flagship phone called the Xiaomi 13 Ultra in China. The device sports a 6.73-inches 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The screen supports 240Hz Touch Sampling Rate, DCI-P3 Colour Gamut, 2600 nits peak brightness, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra has an In-display fingerprint reader, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
The mobile runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13, and is powered by a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The octa-core processor is clocked at 3.19GHz, and is assisted by an Adreno 740 GPU. The smartphone has 12 GB / 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and 256 GB/ 512 GB/ 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Xiaomi has packed a 5,000mAh battery in the handset. It charges via a USB Type-C port and supports 90W fast wired charging, which is capable of fully charging the device in 34 minutes. The device also supports 50W wireless fast charging, and Wireless Reverse Charging.
The main camera array on the Xiaomi 13 Ultra consists of quad lenses tuned by Leica. The primary camera on the phone is a 50 megapixels Sony IMX 989 sensor with f/1.9 and f/4.0 variable aperture, and supports HyperOIS (super optical image stabilization). The flagship phone has three more 50 MP cameras with Sony IMX 858 sensors, including a 50 MP Telephoto lens that has an f/1.8 aperture, and supports OIS and EIS. The other two cameras are a 50 MP Sony IMX 858 Ultra-wide angle lens, and a 50 MP Periscope Telephoto lens that has an f/3.0 aperture which supports OIS, and 3.2x optical zoom.
The front camera on the phone is a 32MP lens with an f/.2.0 aperture. The mobile weighs 227g, measures 163.18 x 74.64 x 9.06 mm, and is rated IP68 for Water and Dust Resistance. Connectivity-wise the Xiaomi 13 Ultra supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra has been priced at RMB 5,999 in China, for the 12 GB / 256 GB trim, while the 16 GB/ 512 GB version costs RMB 6,499. The top-end model with 16 GB / 1 TB carries a price tag of RMB 7,299. The device will be available in 3 colourways: Black, Olive Green, and White.
