Xiaomi has announced a new variant of the Mi 11 Lite. The phone is called the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE, as in the New Edition.
Display and Operating System
The phone features a 6.55-inches Full HD+ AMOLED display that supports 90Hz Refresh Rate. The panel has a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a 20:9 Aspect ratio, 402 PPI, pixel density and supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, 10-bit color depth, 5,000,000:1 Contrast ratio, sRGB 100%, DCI-P3 Color Gamut, 800 nits brightness, 240Hz Touch sampling rate. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The device runs on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11.
Processor, Graphics, RAM and Storage
The 11 Lite 5G NE is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G mobile platform, clocked at 2.4GHz, with an Adreno 642L GPU. The device has 6GB/8GB LPDDR4x RAM, 128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 storage and supports up to 1TB microSD card via the Hybrid Dual SIM Card tray.
Connectivity
The phone supports 5G, 4G LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 5,Wi-Fi 4 and 802.11a/b/g, WiFi Direct, WiFi Display, Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. In terms of location sensors, it supports GPS: L1+L5GLONASS: G1, Galileo: E1+E5a, Beidou: B1I + B1C+ B2a, QZSS: L1 + L5, NavIC: L5.

The Mi 11 Lite 5G NE has triple cameras on the back panel, and the array consists of a 64MP f/1.79 aperture primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera with an 119° FOV , f/2.2 aperture, and a 5MP telemacro camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and an LED Flash. The selfie camera on the handset is a 20 megapixels sensor with an f/2.24 aperture.
Battery, Dimensions, Weight
The 11 Lite 5G NE is backed by a 4250mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging (included in the box), over a USB Type-C port. The phone measures 160.53 x 75.73 x 6.81mm and weighs 158g.
Audio and Sensors
The Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. It has dual Speakers and supports audio via the USB Type-C connector. Ir has several sensors including a side mounted fingerprint reader, a proximity sensor, an ambient light sensor, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, an electronic compass, a linear motor and an IR blaster.
