Vivo has finally made official its next smartphone Vivo V9 in V series which is the successor of Vivo V7+ (Read Review) and joins the bandwagon of devices with a notch at the top of the display just as iPhone X. The company has priced Vivo V9 at Rs. 22,990 and will be available for sale starting April 2. It will be available in three colour options i.e. Champagne Gold, Pearl Black and Sapphire Blue.

Vivo is set to officially unveil their next device in V series as Vivo V9 in India on March 23, though earlier the official launch date was on 27th March. By pre-poning the launch, it seems that Vivo is trying to unveil Vivo V9 ahead of Oppo F7 which is scheduled for launch on March 26.
Even though we are still 10 days away from the official launch, Vivo V9 is already listed on the official portal of Vivo India which reveals everything about the upcoming device including full press renders and hardware specifications. The only information that is left to be revealed is the price of Vivo V9 which is still not revealed on the official listing page.
As per official listing, Vivo V9 features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ 19:9 IPS display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels & iPhone X type of notch at the top, powered by 2.2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 626 Mobile Platform along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone runs on latest version of Android i.e. Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Funtouch OS 4.0 on top of it.
In terms of camera, Vivo V9 features a 24MP front shooter with soft LED flash for selfies & video calls and a dual camera module at rear consisting of 16MP + 5MP camera sensors with LED flash, f2.0 aperture. The camera apps come with features such as AI FACE BEAUTY, Gender detection, AR Sticker, Face beauty video etc.
