Vivo U20 with 6.53-inch display, Snapdragon 675, 5000mAh battery launched in India

The Vivo U20 has been launched in India. And the mid-ranger could offer some competition for the Redmi Note 8 and the Realme 5.

The U20 features a 6.53-inches Full HD+ display with a water-drop notch, and 90.3% screen to body ratio. It runs on Funtouch OS 9.2 based on Android 9 Pie.

The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor, with 4GB/6GB of LPDDR4X RAM. It has 64GB of UFS 2.1 storage and supports up to 256GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

The Vivo U20 is backed by a 5000mAh battery, which supports 18W Fast Charging and Reverse Charging. Sadly, the phone comes with a Micro-USB port. On the plus side, it does retain the 3.5mm headphone jack. The device sports a rear-placed fingerprint scanner.

In terms of optics, the Vivo U20 features a triple camera comprising a 16MP primary lens with an f/1.78 aperture and a Sony IMX 499 sensor, an 8MP 120° super wide-angle with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP Super Macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture. The camera supports Electronic Image Stabilization. The selfie camera in the notch is a 16MP lens with an f/2.0 aperture.

The Vivo U20 has been priced at Rs. 10,990 in India for the 4GB/64GB variant, while the 6GB/64GB model costs Rs. 11,990. The 18W Dual Fast Charger is included in the box. The device will be available from November 28th on and Launch Offers for the Vivo U20 include Rs. 1,000 cashback on pre-paid orders, and No Cost EMI Upto 6 months.
