Terraria is on sale for Rs.130 ($1.99) on Google Play (60% off)

Terraria, the 2D action-adventure sandbox game from 505 games, is now on sale for a huge 60% discount off on the original price of Rs. 330.

Now, before you head to the Play Store and hit the buy button, let me tell you the main difference between the mobile version and the PC version (which I play on GOG).

Terraria GOG

The touchscreen controls for digging/performing actions are quite terrible. On the PC version you can use the arrow keys to move and point the mouse cursor to perform the actions precisely.

On mobile devices, you have to use the d-pad on the right, and drag in the direction which you want the character to dig/attack/perform an action, which in most cases is a big hit and miss.

There are no static buttons (arrow keys + action keypad), which would have been much better in my opinion.

If that doesn’t deter you, well you are in for a world of pixelated goodness. Buy Terraria from Google Play for just Rs. 130 , down from the original price of Rs. 330. The game is also on sale in other countries for $1.99, down from $4.99.

We are not sure how long this discounted offer will last, so make your decision quickly. Fortunately there is a free demo of Terraria available which will help you decide.

P.S: Get the version which you can buy directly from the Play Store, and skip the free onetime IAP-locked one.
