Google have announced the availability of the Sony Z Ultra Google Play Edition in the United States.
This is the third non-Nexus Play Edition phone, the other two being the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the HTC ONE.
The Sony Z Ultra Google Play Edition will ship with Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. The device is dust and waterproof according to IP55 and IP58 standards.
