Sony Xperia X, Xperia XA launched in India for Rs. 48,990 and Rs. 20,990

Sony has just launched two smartphones under X series in India i.e. Xperia X and Xperia XA. Sony Xperia X & Xperia XA are priced at Rs. 48,990 & Rs. 20,990 respectively and will be available exclusively on Amazon India. Xperia X will be available 7th June, 2016 onwards, whereas Xperia XA will be available in the third week of June 2016. Both these smartphones were launched during the Mobile world congress in Barcelona this year.

Xperia X sports a 5-inch 1080p Full HD display and is powered by a 64-bit hexa-core (4x 1.2GHz ARM A53 + 2 x 1.8 GHz ARM A72 ) Snapdragon 650 processor with an Adreno 510 GPU and 3 GB RAM.  It comes with 32 GB of internal storage along with support for expandable storage via microsd cards. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system.

It comes with a 23 MP rear camera with an Exmor RS sensor, an f/2.0 aperture, Predictive Hybrid AF, 1080p video recording and a 13 MP front shooter with an Exmor RS sensor, 22 mm wide-angle lens with an f/2.0 aperture with support for recording 1080p FullHD videos.

It measures 69.4 x 142.7 x 7.9 mm and weighs at 153 grams. It is backed by 2630 mAh Battery which supports Qnovo’s Adaptive Charging.

XPERIA XA

Xperia XA sports a 5-inch 720p HD display, powered by 1.8 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor with Mali T860 GPU and 2 GB of RAM. It comes with 16 GB of internal storagealong with support for expandable storage via microsd cards. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system.

In terms of camera, it comes with a 13 MP rear Camera with Exmor RS sensor with support for 1080p FullHD video recording and a 8 MP front shooter with Sony Exmor R sensor and an 88-degree wide-angle lens. It measures 143.6 x 66.8 x 7.9 mm and weighs 137.4 gm. It is backed by 2300 mAh battery with support for Qnovo’s Adaptive Charging.
