We told you it was coming today, and it is here. Rovio have released a new game based on DreamWorks Animation Studios’ latest movie,: The Croods.

The Croods Game

This game will allow you to manage a prehestorical village based on the movie.

Pre-hysterical Features:

● Decorate your pre-historic world with the latest in caveman fashion accessories!
● Meet your favorite characters from the feature animation film from DreamWorks Animation!

So we thought it was going to be an ad supported game, we weren’t wrong, except this game uses a freemium model. For those of you who aren’t aware what a freemium game is, it is a game which you can download and play for free, but will contain IAPs (In-App Purchases) which you buy with real money to unlock some features in the game.

Now here is something interesting, if you head to the Play Store page for The Croods, you will notice that it has got a lot of downloads, not to mention all those negative ratings. Apparently the game was released a few days back for some Countries, (notice the date of the reviews). And it has already got an update which fixed some issues that users reported.

The game is free to play and you can use the widget below to install it from Google Play.

Note: You need an active internet connection to play the game.
