The rumored Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A has just surfaced on TENAA, the Chinese certification agency revealing all the hardware specifications and Render images of the device. Alleged Redmi 5A Render along with hardware specifications have leaked earlier and now we have confirmation of the same, thanks to the TENAA listing. Earlier leak though suggested Snapdragon 625 for Note 5A, but TENAA listing suggests otherwise.
Four Models of Redmi Note 5A have surfaced on TENAA with slight variation in terms of hardware specifications but with same design / looks. The models that have surfaced on TENAA are:
- MDE6
- MDE6S
- MDT6
- MDT6S
As per TENAA, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A sports a 5.5-inch 720p HD TFT display and is powered by 1.4 GHz Quad-core processor (MDE6, MDT6) / 1.4 GHz Octa-core processor (MDE6S, MDT6S) along with 2GB / 3 GB of RAM. The 1.4 GHz Quad-core processor, in our opinion is Qualcomm Snapdragon 425, while the 1.4 GHz Octa-core processor is Qualcomm Snapdragon 430. It comes with 16GB / 32 GB of internal storage and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat based operating system out of the box with Xiaomi’s MIUI 8 on top.
In terms of camera, the 2 GB RAM + 16 GB ROM variant (MDE6, MDT6) comes with 13 MP main rear camera along with 5 MP front shooter, while the 3 GB RAM + 32 GB ROM variant (MDE6S, MDT6S) comes with 16 MP main rear camera along with 13 MP front shooter. In terms of battery, all the variants are backed by 3,000 mAh battery. All the variants come with support for 4G LTE along with VOLTE.
In terms of dimensions, Redmi Note 5A measures 153.1 x 76.3 x 7.3 (mm) and weighs 150 grams. Redmi Note 5A will be available in Black, Rose Gold, Gold, White, Blue, Red, Pink, Gray, and Silver color options.
At the moment, Xiaomi is yet to announce any official launch date for Redmi Note 5A. We don’t have even a rumored launch date or any ETA on when it will happen. Redmi Note 5A is rumored to be priced at 999 Yuan (~Rs. 10,000 or ~$150) Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
