Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max in China, and the confirmed pricing starts lower than many expected. The K100 Pro opens at CNY 3,699 (roughly $550) for 12/256 GB, while the K100 Pro Max starts at CNY 4,499 (roughly $670) — aggressive numbers for phones packing flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 silicon and batteries exceeding 8,500 mAh.
Redmi K100 Pro: Pricing and Specifications
The standard Pro model is the more affordable entry point and the one our earlier coverage did not detail. It runs the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5V Series — a slightly cut-down variant with one fewer GPU slice than the full chip — paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.

Redmi K100 Pro Max: Pricing and Key Differences
The Pro Max steps up to the full-core Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (not the V Series), a larger 6.9-inch OLED at 2608 x 1200, a 9,070 mAh battery, and an upgraded camera array with a 50 MP periscope telephoto and a 50 MP ultra-wide replacing the Pro’s 8 MP module. What Comes Next
Xiaomi also confirmed that a standard Redmi K100 and a gaming-focused flagship are in development for the same series. Both devices are currently China-only, and Xiaomi has not announced international availability or pricing. Given the K-series track record — the K80 Pro eventually reached India as the Poco F7 Ultra — a global variant under a different brand is plausible but unconfirmed.
