Redmi 11 Prime 5G with MediaTek Dimensity 700 launched in India

The Redmi 11 Prime 5G has been launched in India, alongside the 4G version. Here’s what you need to know about the 5G mobile.

The phone is equipped with a 6.58-inches LCD screen that has a Full HD+ resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 400 nits brightness, 90Hz Refresh Rate, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The selfie lens on the display is a 5MP f/2.2 lens.

The Redmi 11 Prime 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz, with an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 12, and has 4GB/6GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 64GB/128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card slot.

The dual camera set up on the rear cover consists of a 50 megapixels primary lens with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP Depth Sensor that has an f/2.4 aperture, and an LED Flash. The smartphone supports 1080p video recording @30fps.

Redmi has packed a 5,000 mAh battery in the device, it supports 18W Fast Charging via a USB Type-C port, though the company has included a 22.5W charger in the box. The mobile has a 3.5mm headphone jack, supports Hi-Res audio and FM Radio. Connectivity options on the Redmi 11 Prime 5G include support for 5G and 4G LTE mobile networks, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 2.4G/5G, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, AGPS, Glonass, Beidou, and NFC.

The phone weighs 200g, and measures 163.99 x 76.09 x 8.9mm. It has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, an Ambient Light Sensor, a Proximity Sensor, an E-Compass, an Accelerometer, and an IR Blaster.

Redmi 11 Prime 5G price in India

The Redmi 11 Prime 5G price in India starts at Rs. 15,999 for the 4GB/64GB version, while the 6GB/128GB model costs Rs. 17,999.  The first sale of the phone will take place on September 9th at Mi.com and Amazon. The phone comes in 3 colours: Thunder Black, Chrome Silver, Meadow Green.

Xiaomi is offering a discount of Rs. 2,000 for a limited time, which means you can buy the 4GB model for Rs. 13,999, and the 6GB version at Rs. 15,999.
